The Radical S, the most forgiving of the Radical series of racquets, has been updated to improve playability for players looking for easier power and playability – perfect for an ambitious all-court club player, rising intermediate or adept beginner. The Radical S has the easiest playability and power versus the heaviest Radical Pro and heavier MP while still enabling good control on full swings.
This racquet features Head’s Graphene 360+ technology, a combination of Graphene 360’s energy transfer and innovative spiralfibers which delivers enhanced flex and clean impact feel. This means improved response and feel over previous iterations resulting in easier power and stability.
Unchanged from the previous edition, its 9.9 ounces (unstrung) will provide a balance of maneuverability and stability which grants enough power from the baseline for good depth. It’s head-light balance enhances the maneuverability for quick cutting and agile feel for spin, volleys and fast serves.
Also unchanged from the previous edition, the head size is slightly on the bigger side of average which enables a generous sweet spot for more forgiving feel and easier power. It’s dynamic string pattern means that there is a higher density of the strings in the sweet spot which translates to a greater degree of control and yet it is more forgiving when struck out of the sweet spot due to a lower density of the string bed in these areas.
