Recommended by Novak Djokovic, the updated Pro comes with Graphene 360+ technology, a combination of Graphene 360’s energy transfer and innovative spiralfibers for an enhanced flex and clean impact feel as well as an 18/20 string pattern for high control no matter how fast the game. The Pro is available in a new design with an asymmetric combination of matte and glossy white and glossy black.
The raw specs on this version haven’t been altered from the previous model, so this new frame should feel right at home in the hands of Speed Pro players. Thanks to the updated technologies, players should also find added comfort and energy return on a full swing. The Speed Pro is the heaviest racquet in the Speed family, however, at 10.9 ounces unstrung (310 grams) it is far from sluggish. In fact, like the name eludes to, generating racquet head speed is fairly straight forward with this racquet, especially when compared to other racquets in the players racquet category. This is thanks to its 8 point headlight balance (315 mm) and relatively low swingweight. Even though it is on the lighter end of the players racquet weight spectrum, the Speed Pro possesses plenty of stability. Like the previous version, the placement of Graphene 360 in the racquet’s shaft as well as the racquet’s head at 3, 9 and 12 o’clock, strengthens the racquet in these key areas and contributes to enhanced stability and power. With the addition of Spiralfibers in the lower portion of the hoop, Head has enhanced the overall feel of the frame with better energy transfer, more flex and a cleaner impact feel.
